Acknowledgement Terms

These terms apply when you separately agree to public acknowledgement of your support by World Meditation Day or World Meditation Foundation.

5.1 What you’re agreeing to

If you give separate permission, the display name you approve may be included in the campaign updates or reports identified when we ask for that permission.

5.2 What is — and isn’t — published

For eligible supporters who opt in, we may acknowledge the approved display name, supporter category and year of support in the specified materials. The category may suggest a giving level; permission must cover that association. Publication is reviewed rather than automatic. We do not publish your exact donation amount, address, email or payment details without separate permission.

5.3 This is optional, and separate from your gift

Declining acknowledgement or withdrawing permission does not affect your gift or access to donation services.

5.4 Where your name may appear

Your approved display name may appear in the specified annual report, campaign update or event recap on World Meditation Day and/or World Meditation Foundation websites. These are public materials and may be downloaded, copied or indexed by others. We do not provide your contact or payment information as part of that acknowledgement.

5.5 How long it stays published

We retain acknowledgement while the relevant material is in use, subject to your withdrawal request and the limitations below.

5.6 Withdrawing your consent

You can withdraw permission by contacting unworldmeditationfoundation@gmail.com or unworldmeditationfoundation@gmail.com. We will stop new uses and review material we control for removal or correction. We cannot retrieve copies already downloaded or printed, or guarantee removal from third-party caches and screenshots.

5.7 No compensation

Public acknowledgement is offered as a courtesy. It is not a contractual benefit and is not given in exchange for any goods, services, or tax consideration.
